Questions, answered
Common questions from patients, plus our enrolment, privacy and terms information in one place.
What services do you provide?
We offer clinic visits, phone consults for registered patients, repeat scripts for enrolled patients, lab test follow-up and on-site psychology.
Are you qualified to do what a GP does?
Yes. A nurse practitioner is fully authorised to diagnose, prescribe and manage treatment, just like a GP.
How do I book an appointment?
Registered patients can book online with the Manage My Health app, or call the clinic on 09 947 5307. Phone appointments are booked by calling the clinic.
Do I need to enrol as a patient?
Enrolling helps us deliver ongoing, personalised care, gives you lower fees for eligible visits and gives you access to the Manage My Health patient portal. Enrolment is free and voluntary.
Can I enrol my children?
Yes. All children enrolling must be enrolled with a parent. Parents or guardians enrol children under 16; young people aged 16 and over sign their own enrolment form.
Can I get a script online?
Yes. Registered patients can order repeat scripts through Manage My Health. All scripts must be paid for before processing.
What if I need to be physically seen?
You can book a clinic appointment. These are arranged based on need and availability.
What if I miss an appointment?
Appointments cancelled with less than 4 hours verbal notice, and missed appointments, are charged the full consult fee (including Community Services Card holders).
